We are a collection of home groups located throughout the communities of Monroeville, Murrysville, Pitcairn, Wall, Trafford, Plum Borough, Delmont, and Harrison City. Located in and around Westmoreland County, approximately 20-30 miles east of Pittsburgh, there are an average of 4 meetings a day, 7 days a week.
WHere IS District 28?
AA is organized by Areas, which are further subdivided into Districts. In Pennsylvania, there are two Areas: Area 59 covering the Eastern part of the state, and Area 60 encompassing the western half. We are located in Area 60.
Districts within an Area provide a platform for local groups to have a voice in matters affecting other groups and AA as a whole. Each District has a District Committee comprising representatives from its AA groups, known as General Service Representatives (G.S.R.s). ​
There are 41 districts in the Western Pennsylvania Area (Area 60). East Allegheny County and Central Westmoreland County make up District 28 of Area 60.
